The Agora Project Magazine is the forum for the 21st Century.
At the Agora Project Magazine, our slogan is, “The Only True Multi-Partisan News Source”
The idea came from frustration to find an adequate amount of balanced political perspectives on any given media source, may that be newspaper, computer, or television. At the Agora Project we aim to show an abundance of ideas from varying political writers, through our diverse stories. We hope it’s efforts will bring together a community that can discuss eloquently and fervently their opinions on these diverse issues. The point here is to be divisive and diverse, because we believe you are only truly intelligent once you have been exposed to many different ideas and you use that knowledge to subsequently discover where your positions lie. This ideal that you follow, should always be fluid and dynamic as is politics and the community, and we hope to facilitate that growth. We hope to be some type of solution to the constant polarization of many websites and political affiliated media outlets. We realize that putting the views of different writers on various subjects could still polarize readers to their selected and comfortable ideological stance, but this is where our request to you as readers begins. It’s a website that boils down to your choice, and with that choice we encourage you to step away from your comforts of understanding and try to expand your horizons of intellect, so that we may be, as a society, more fluid, more compatible, more understanding and most of all more intelligent.
Format: We will have a dynamic amount of writers but we want to get to be at 15 full time writers with other feature and special guests, and are looking for more with high intellect and political zeal. We are trying to fill all of the holes of the political spectrum, and plan on having ideologies from all of them on as staff writers. We will cover a wide range of political topics from international affairs, to monetary policy, to social injustice, to environment, to federal budgets and more, but it is up to you to begin the conversation. On special occasions we will bring in Guests of Honor to do a Op-Ed article, that all will enjoy.
We highly recommend using Twitter and Facebook on articles of interest to our readers to make for a more diverse conversation.
Cheers,
Colby Gray Seymore (Editor-in-Chief and Writer) and the Crew at A.P.M.
